A Journey of Hard Work, Faith, Perseverance, and Service
Shane Everett Woodson’s story is one of hard work, perseverance, faith, transformation, and survival.
From earning his first money as a child to spending decades in the electrical and construction trades, Shane learned early that building something worthwhile requires discipline, sacrifice, and the willingness to keep moving forward when life becomes difficult.
His journey has also included extraordinary challenges. He survived serious pneumonia as a newborn in 1977, a devastating house fire as a child in 1987, a near-fatal automobile accident in 2007, a life-threatening medical emergency in 2023, and bacterial meningitis and three strokes in 2025.
Shane does not look at these events simply as tragedies. He sees them as miracles—moments when his life could have ended, but did not.
Those experiences changed his perspective on success.
For Shane, building a legacy is no longer simply about building businesses. It is about using a lifetime of experience to create opportunities for other people.
That purpose ultimately became Angel 8 Organization Inc.
Learning the Value of Hard Work
Shane’s entrepreneurial journey began when he was only seven years old.
He started mowing lawns for $5 to $10 per yard. The first time he earned $50 in a single day became an early lesson in independence and the value of hard work.
By age ten, he was mowing lawns, delivering newspapers, and taking whatever legitimate odd jobs he could find.
Those early experiences taught him lessons that would follow him throughout his life: earn what you have, respect the value of money, take responsibility for your future, and never be afraid of hard work.
Entering the Trades
At 16 years and 8 months old, Shane earned his GED and entered the workforce.
He began working in maintenance and construction, learning multiple trades before discovering the electrical industry.
Electrical work quickly became his specialty.
Within months of entering the field, Shane was given the responsibility of wiring a house as a lead electrician. At only 18 years old, he was leading workers who already had several years of experience in the trade.
It marked the beginning of a career that would span decades.
Becoming an Entrepreneur
At approximately 18 years old, Shane founded Shane’s Maintenance Service.
What began as a small operation grew through years of construction, maintenance, and electrical work.
By 2006, the business had grown to a crew of approximately 21 people.
The growth did not happen overnight.
For decades, six-day workweeks were common. There were periods when Shane worked seven days a week and many years when long days were simply part of operating a business.
Those years provided something even more valuable than business experience: they taught him what working people and young entrepreneurs actually face when trying to build a future.
A Different Definition of Success
Over time, Shane’s definition of success changed.
Owning companies and creating wealth were no longer enough.
The larger question became:
What can we build that continues helping people long after we are gone?
That question became part of the foundation for Angel 8 Organization Inc.
The goal is to take decades of practical experience in business, construction, entrepreneurship, and overcoming adversity and turn those lessons into opportunities for another generation.
The Birth of Angel 8 Organization INC, In the Name of Christ
Angel 8 Organization INCwas established with a mission centered on helping children, families, low-income communities, and future entrepreneurs build stronger futures.
The organization seeks to combine education, mentorship, skilled-trades opportunities, entrepreneurship, community assistance, and charitable programs.
Shane believes that helping someone through a difficult moment is important—but helping that person develop the knowledge and skills to build a better future can change generations.
That philosophy is at the heart of Angel 8.
Miracles, Faith, and Divine Protection
Faith has played an important role throughout Shane’s life.
Several events became defining moments in his journey. Shane does not share these experiences to seek sympathy. He shares them because he believes they are testimony—his reminders that God is real, life has purpose, and survival can carry responsibility with it. Shane says when you put GOD-FIRST in your heart ❤️ completely, you will receive the Armor of God.
1977 — A Miracle at the Beginning of Life
Shane’s story of survival began almost as soon as his life did.
As a newborn baby in 1977, Shane developed serious pneumonia and was placed in an incubator at University of Virginia Hospital.
At just days old when he could do nothing to fight for himself, his life was already hanging in the balance.
He survived.
For Shane, this became the first of several moments throughout his life that he would later recognize as miracles.
Christmas 1987 — The House Fire
As a child, Shane survived a devastating house fire.
The experience became one of his earliest memories of how quickly life can change and how precious survival can be.
October 21, 2007 — A Near-Fatal Automobile Accident COMA 4.5 days, plus 10 days in recovery.
Years later, Shane survived a serious automobile accident that could easily have ended his life.
The experience strengthened his belief that surviving difficult circumstances brings with it a responsibility to make something meaningful from the time we are given.
January 23, 2023 — A New Beginning
During a trip to the Bahamas, a medical emergency resulted in an emergency private flight to a Florida hospital, life-support care, and an extended 10 days hospital stay.
January 23, 2023 became another turning point in Shane’s life.
He made the decision to leave alcohol behind and redirect his energy toward his faith, his work, and what would eventually become the mission of Angel 8.
For Shane, this marked a rebirth—a new beginning and a deeper commitment to Almighty Yahweh.
2025 — Surviving Bacterial Meningitis and Three Strokes, 5 days ICU, 5 days recovery, 14 days at home treatments 3 times a day.
Another life-threatening challenge arrived in 2025 when Shane survived bacterial meningitis and three strokes.
Once again, life changed.
And once again, the experience reinforced a simple belief:
Tomorrow is never guaranteed, so the work we do today should matter.
Looking back across these events, Shane sees not simply a series of tragedies, but a series of miracles.

Why “Angel 8”?
The number eight carries deep personal meaning in Shane’s life and in the history behind Angel 8.
His brother Jason was born on August 7, 1985, and Shane was born on August 15, 1977. Over the years, numbers—particularly repeating numbers—became personal reminders of family, faith, perseverance, transformation, and purpose.
For Shane, these numbers are not what makes Angel 8 meaningful.
The people, experiences, faith, and purpose behind them do.
Angel 8 represents remembering where we came from, honoring those who helped shape us, and using whatever opportunities we have been given to help someone else rise.
The Signs That Started Angel 8 After I Quit Drinking January 23rd 2023
After Shane’s life-changing experience in January 2023, he began repeatedly noticing number patterns and signs that became deeply meaningful to him.
One of the first repeating patterns he remembers seeing was 888.
Later came repeated appearances of 666. At first, Shane associated the number with something negative. As he began reading and reflecting more deeply, he came to understand that different traditions and interpretations assign different meanings to repeating numbers.
From there, he continued noticing patterns every single day including:
111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, 888, 999, 10:10, and 11:11.
Shane views these recurring patterns through his personal faith and relationship with Almighty YHWH or Yahweh. Jehovah
They became part of the spiritual journey that surrounded the birth and growth of Angel 8.
The Meaning Shane Associates With These Numbers

Confidence, opportunity, transformation, love, and new beginnings.

Balance, trust, patience, relationships, intuition, collaboration, creativity, and self-discovery.

Growth, support, creativity, healing, and manifestation.

Guidance, support, stability, success, and order.

Change, transformation, spiritual growth, and personal growth.

Refocus, letting go, finding balance, realignment, and trusting your instincts.

Self-discovery, personal growth, divine connection, spiritual awakening, good fortune, and completeness.
The number seven also carries strong biblical significance. In Scripture, seven is closely associated with completion and fullness, including God completing Creation and resting on the seventh day.
That meaning became especially interesting to Shane when he later noticed another personal pattern:
1977 — pneumonia as a newborn
1987 — the house fire
2007 — the near-fatal automobile accident
Three major survival events, all occurring in years ending in seven.
888
Abundance, balance, positive change, and prosperity.
For Shane, 888 became especially meaningful because of its connection to his family, personal dates, and the beginnings, years before of the Angel 8 identity, because his brother Jason was buried in Cal Ripken's uniform #8.

Completion, new beginnings, transformation, spiritual awakening, and forgiveness.
10:10 and 11:11
Shane also began repeatedly noticing times such as 10:10 and 11:11.
To Shane, these moments became personal reminders to stop, reflect, pray, and remember the larger purpose behind the journey he was experiencing.
These meanings are shared as part of Shane’s personal testimony and faith journey. They are not presented as scientific proof, but as patterns and experiences that have held deep spiritual meaning in his life.
Building Something That Outlives Us
Angel 8 Organization INC is intended to become more than one person’s story.
The long-term vision is to create opportunities through education, skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, community programs, and assistance for children and families who need a hand building their future.
Shane’s decades of business experience provide part of the foundation.
His hardships provide another.
His faith provides the reason to continue.
But the future of Angel 8 will ultimately be built by the people who join the mission and carry it forward.
A Legacy Still Being Written
Shane Everett Woodson’s story is not simply about surviving adversity or building businesses.
It is about what comes afterward.
It is about taking the lessons earned through decades of work, mistakes, victories, losses, faith, miracles, and second chances—and putting them to work for somebody else.
That is the legacy Shane hopes to leave through Angel 8 Organization INC
Not simply what one person accumulated during his lifetime, but how many people were given an opportunity to build something of their own.
And this is just the beginning.
